For someone nostalgic for a clubby, late 50s atmosphere, comfortable decor, delicious and affordable food, with regular clientele from the neighborhood, this is you place. The owners are familiar and friendly, but not intrusive. I've been here a number of times and have never been disappointed, but service was really slow at different times. As I wasnt in a hurry it didn't matter, but you may need to mention your schedule if you're due somewhere. We always look forward to dining here. Some evenings there is a jazz combo that is top notch.

Larchmere Tavern is the place to go on a chilly day when you need something warm and tasty. Good food with some interesting selections. Friendly service. I don’t drink alcohol but the folks around us seemed to enjoy the libations.

The type of place you want to become a regular in -- most of the folk there seemed to be regulars! I had an excellent veal meatloaf, and the burgers are also excellent. I will be back to try more options

I go to hear the Jazz Jam on Monday night. It is an amazing night of music with emphasis on music from the 20s through the 50s. There is no cover charge. The food is good, the drinks are potent, and the staff and clientele are friendly. I keep going back on Mondays. I have also enjoyed it on other days the week when there is no music and can recommend it as a nice place to meet a friend for a drink. But the music on Mondays makes it special

Party of 7: we walked into the restaurant waited 20 minutes for some one to seat us then the manager walks up to us and says: "I can't seat u folks" we were like we see open tables then he says they are all reserved and he will not be seating us. We were the only African American people in the establishment so in other words the manager did not want to accommodate us black folks but sat people behind us which were Caucasian without any problems. Larchmere Tavern is RACIST!!!! This is the wrong time to pick and choose between black and white we all live in this city together. We wanted to grab a bite from being at the porch fest all day but apparently we went into the wrong establishment. Never Again Racist Restaurant!!!

The drinks and the pizza were good

Food was fabulous. Service was courteous and timely.

I had the Salmon Salad. Grilled salmon, boiled egg tomato, red onions, vinaigrette over spinach. It was awesome!!!

We stopped in as out of town guests to attend a family party and we were looking to purchase gift certificates for the Larchmere Tavern as it is known to be the favorite destination place for the party guests of honor. After we purchased the certificate we asked the Owner, Fred, for directions back to our hotel....and he said. "You walked here!"....when we said we did he refused to let us walk back, instead he drove us personally back to the hotel. No wonder our family loves going to this lovely restaurant on the hill...this attention to customer service speaks volumes about the Owner and his restaurant. Thank you Fred!

Nice quaint little spot you'll enjoy it

We had lunch with friends. The manager and staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food was good.

We were there during an incredibly busy time, so likely I would rate it higher. Our server was very sweet, but nothing that I would call efficient. It took a long time for our food, and when it got there my burger was only warm, and the fries were barely cooked. I could not eat them. Then we had to wait to pay our bill because she had trouble figuring it out. Not great all in all.

One of my favorite Taverns in Ohio! Excellent service, knowledgeable waitstaff, and excellent selections for any drink you would prefer. Try to stop by here whenever I’m in the Cleveland Area. If you like a bar with an old school and Dom feel to it, look no further. You’ll appreciate this spot.

Came during lunchtime server was very nice, wings was over cooked sent them back ordered Shrimp 🍤 and sausage gumbo was a bowl of sauce and rice no meat or shrimp.

Monday night jazz..very nice! Ambiance..sweet; however, $12 E&J Brandy was RIDICULOUS..I'll maybe come back for a taste of their cuisine.
